Operation MCP (the MCP stands for Making Careers Possible) is a free resume writing and interview preparation service for veterans and service members.  So those people in the military transitioning out of the military looking for assistance with writing their resume and prepping for interviews to become gainfully employed in the civilian workforce can reach out to the organization.

Its mission is to help put veterans and service members back to work. After their sacrifices and service to protect the United States of America, its duty is to help veterans and service members transition back to civilian life.

Daniela started working in human resources and she observed that there are so many military folks coming out transitioning out and they don’t know how to translate their resume from military jargon to make it understandable to civilian employers.  Having all those skills and the background in her daytime job she thought she could put them to good use by starting a nonprofit with those services that are free to our United States military.

Service members being so eager to get into the civilian workforce  would give her tons of paperwork with tons of information and everything she needs to make sure that the resumes are crafted and written correctly and ready to use in applying for jobs. Part of the preparation is orienting them with tough interview questions and getting them ready to showcase their talents and abilities with increased confidence.  Those leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, time management and just you know being able to communicate interpersonally give service members an edge to also become effective outside the military.

Volunteers are also welcome to assist with fundraising, marketing and publicity. As the organization increase with clients, folks who have the skills set can help Daniela write the resumes.
